The book

Francis Boutle Publishers and Lodenek Press have reprinted Donald R. Rawe’s classic study first published in the 1970s of Pastow’s Obby Oss and May Day festivities. The book contains many rare photographs of the celebrations as well as a well-researched commentary on its history and significance. Rawe, a Padstonian himself, has produced a fascinating study of this enduring tradition.
